Cheryl attained her B.S. in Accounting at Robert Morris University while working full time and taking classes part time. Prior to joining Literacy Pittsburgh, she worked at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for 26 years. During her tenue, she achieved promotions from Bookkeeper to Vice President of Finance and Operations.
She joined Literacy Pittsburgh in 2017 as Director of Finance and promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2021. She oversees multiple facets of the organization vital to keeping Literacy Pittsburgh running smoothly, including finance, human resources, technology, facilities, and office management.
Cheryl lives in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with her son, two daughters and her golden retriever. She enjoys reading, working in the yard, spending time with family, and gaming.
