We are excited to celebrate our GED students and their accomplishments at our annual GED graduation.

After hard work and dedication, our students have achieved this significant milestone, and we want to celebrate this accomplishment together. This event is a momentous occasion where we come together to honor the hard work, dedication and achievements of our students. 

The evening promises to be filled with inspiration, celebration, and memorable moments. Highlights includes: 

  • Keynote Address: We are thrilled to welcome a special guest speaker and vocalist who will share words of wisdom and perform soul-stirring melodies that are sure to uplift and inspire.
  • Graduation Recognition: Witness as our graduates walk across the stage to celebrate obtaining their GED. Your applause and encouragement will mean the world to them as they celebrate this significant milestone.
  • Networking and Refreshments: Connect with fellow attendees, mingle with our graduates and enjoy light refreshments as we celebrate their accomplishments.

As we gear up to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our students we are thrilled to announce this year guest speaker and vocalist:


Guest Speaker 

Jamillia Kamara Covington, M.Ed. 

Originally from West Philadelphia with roots in Liberia, West Africa.
Jamillia Kamara Covington is a values-driven steward, writer, speaker
and strategist. Driven by a love of culture and community, Jamillia's professional
experiences span from the classroom to the boardroom.

Guest Vocalist 

Dejah Monea 


Singer/songwriter Dejah Monea released a project titled "Flowers and Dopamine" in 2020
available on all music streaming platforms. Although she plans to expand to different genres her homes is R&B/Soul.
