Welcome to Literacy Pittsburgh

Literacy Pittsburgh provides free, personalized instruction in college and career readiness, GED test preparation, digital literacy, English language learning, math, reading, and family literacy through one-to-one and small-class instruction, both online and in-person. Founded in 1982, we serve adults in Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland counties. Last year, we helped more than 3,200 people in the Greater Pittsburgh area gain the skills to help them succeed as workers, parents, and neighbors.
