Literacy Pittsburgh will provide:
- Up to $1,000 cash stipend to help cover your costs (Stipends will be mailed out after the event.)
- Table(s) with table linens
- Cocktail napkins
- Tabletop signage
- Limited electrical access
- Promotional materials and media kit
- Access for 2 hosts
- Website and social media promotion
Participating restaurants will provide:
- Enough food to serve small bites/tastes to 350 guests
- Serving plates/bowls and utensils
- 2 hosts to serve at your station
- Decorations, menus, and promotional items to help show off your business
- All items needed to transport and heat or reheat your food including water for chafing pans
- Extension cords
- Logo (TIF, JPG, PDF ) by March 13
- Certificate of Insurance (details to be provided)
General info for participants:
- Food stations must be completely set up by 5:30 pm.
- Load-in times will be assigned starting at 2:00 pm.
- After load-in, vehicles must be moved to the parking garage (fee).
- We ask that you plan to stay for the duration of the event.
- Your food station must be completely cleaned up before you leave the building for you to receive your stipend.
- No persons under the age of 18 are allowed at the event.
- Please note that there will be NO kitchen access at the venue.
